New Life (To Morrow)

On October 14, 2007, Jessica and I spent our first anniversary painting for each other.
I based mine on a 60 year old rubber tree my grandmother started, which we now keep. Sharing
my grief at my grandmother's passing with Jess initiated our reunion, and subsequent marriage.
Later that same day, after this completed piece had been named "New Life," Jess and I
sat down
to do some math, and to our stunned and overjoyed disbelief, realized that she was pregnant!!!!
