Draining the headwater marshes
Of Jordan Creek,
The last touches
On final habitat destruction

Goodbye all you Spiranthes.
Goodbye all you golden-eyed grass.
Goodbye all you Botrychium ferns.

Imagine that classes used to go on field trips
Down Jordan Creek!
That was when
It was still flowing.

Bit by bit,
The final solution will be reached.
Nothing will be in the way of building.
Where is the plan?
You don't put plans like that on the table.

If something gets saved,
The spin doctors will point to it.
