Max got to spend all of his first summer with his Mom and Dad, who are teachers, and went on road trips to Livermore and Santa Cruz to see family and friends.
He loves mornings, going for long walks in the forest, dancing in front of the mirror, and staring at Andy Warhol's prints of Marilyn Monroe.
He's making lots of cool and bizarre sounds, starting to sit and grab at things, and giving big, gummy smiles (which enchant us into forgetting the camera, unfortunately).
