This last chunk of the website revamp
will hopefully get finished this coming summer....


Mark Oatney has been writing songs, playing the guitar and singing
since he was 18 years old. He originally got into photography as a
"day job" to support his music habits. Thousands of song pieces and
a couple dozen "completed" songs later, he is beginning to record
in earnest and will be presenting samples of original material
on this website in the months to come.

The general groove is Folk/ Alternative Country, sometimes
soft, sometimes not, with undertones of Greg Brown,
Hank Williams, Ozzy Osbourne, Leonard Cohen....
